Built by Engineers.
For Serious Retailers.
We founded RetailCoder because India's growing D2C brands and multi-channel retailers deserved better than slow, bloated legacy platforms. We are rebuilding the retail infrastructure stack from the ground up — with event-driven architecture, double-entry accuracy, and zero SaaS lock-in.
Engineering DNA
The immutable principles that dictate every line of code we ship and every system we architect — from RC:OMS to RC:Storefront.
Speed is a Feature
We don't believe in loading spinners. If an OMS query takes more than 100ms, it's broken. We code close to the metal using optimised Node.js and Prisma query architecture.
Code Over Slides
We don't do PowerPoints. We do proof of concepts. When you work with RetailCoder, you talk directly to the architects building your system — not an account manager.
Audit-Grade Reliability
We build tools we would trust with our own businesses — immutable double-entry ledgers, idempotent webhooks, and zero-downtime deployment pipelines.
The Architect
“Retail technology has been stagnant for a decade. While the broader web moved to microservices and event-driven architecture, retail operations remained trapped inside rigid, monolithic legacy systems.”
After years of managing complex production environments, enterprise data platforms, and heavy Oracle Retail and IBM Cognos system architectures, the friction became too obvious to ignore. The systems costing brands millions were failing at real-time agility.
Priyanshu Pandey founded RetailCoder with a singular mission: to replace these legacy platforms with clean, event-driven retail infrastructure — bringing hyperscale engineering to the Indian retail market at a fraction of the traditional cost.
Built for Scale
Infrastructure designed to handle the highest-velocity sale events — flash sales, Big Billion Days, and Mega Sales without overselling.
The Journey
From enterprise frustration to India's most accurate retail OS.
The Inception
Managing legacy enterprise suites — Oracle RMS, IBM Cognos — the realization hit: existing implementations were costing brands millions but failing at real-time inventory sync. The first blueprint for an event-driven, double-entry ledger alternative was drafted in India.
RC:OMS & RC:Storefront v1.0
RetailCoder launched RC:OMS (double-entry order management) and RC:Storefront (self-hosted headless e-commerce). First production deployments successful — Swadeshi Bookstore went live on RC:Storefront on an independent CyberPanel VPS.
RC:Pulse — AI Analytics
RC:Pulse, the AI-powered retail analytics and demand forecasting layer, enters active development. Early access pipeline opens for existing RC:OMS users. RetailCoder establishes itself as the leading Shopify and WooCommerce alternative for Indian D2C brands.
RC:POS — The Complete OS
RC:POS, the offline-first point of sale system, completes the RetailCoder stack — unifying online order management, headless storefront, AI analytics, and physical retail into one modular, event-driven operating system for Indian retail.
About RetailCoder — FAQs
Our founding story, engineering philosophy, and mission.
+Who founded RetailCoder?
RetailCoder was founded by Priyanshu Pandey, a principal architect with experience managing enterprise retail environments including Oracle RMS and IBM Cognos. He founded RetailCoder in 2025 to replace legacy platforms with clean, event-driven retail infrastructure.
+What problem does RetailCoder solve?
RetailCoder replaces slow, monolithic legacy retail platforms with purpose-built, event-driven infrastructure. RC:OMS provides double-entry, audit-grade order management. RC:Storefront provides a self-hosted headless e-commerce platform with zero transaction fees.
+Is RetailCoder an alternative to Oracle RMS?
Yes. RetailCoder is designed as a modern, event-driven alternative to legacy platforms like Oracle RMS — delivering the same audit-grade inventory accuracy at a fraction of the complexity, purpose-built for Indian D2C brands.
+Where is RetailCoder based?
RetailCoder Systems is based in India, purpose-built for Indian D2C brands, Amazon and Flipkart sellers, and multi-channel retailers who require enterprise-grade retail infrastructure without the enterprise price tag.
